Consultant, Corporate Management in New York
Mission
Pramex International Corp. seeks Consultant, Corporate Management in New York, NY.
He/ she will Manage client portfolios including
- AP, AR,
- Payroll and other Human Resource (HR) assistance,
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings and tax filings;
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams involving external business partners, such as attorneys, Chartered Professional Accountants (CPAs), banks, payroll processors, and other business service providers;
- Assist the Director of Corporate Management in preparing and presenting new business proposals;
- Assist French clients in multiple organizational, management, administrative and other functional aspects of establishing their operations in North America including the treatment of all employees both in America and France and assessing all potential financial and legal risks to the French investors;
- Define the most appropriate organization/entity to set up, define and implement corporate processes and internal controls, accounting setup, human resources, tax, insurance, and other matters while providing comparisons with existing structures in similar entities found in France;
- Create detailed reports regarding potential impacts for any major corporate structural change and respond to inquiries from France on all related matters which may affect liabilities;
- Monitor business, financial and other important aspects of the client operations and activities in the U.S. and report to parent companies in France while respecting the necessary cultural differences;
- Analyze issues and formulate recommendations and improvement initiatives based on client needs for both French Head Quarters and U.S. subsidiaries;
- Act as liaison to French parent companies in watching over and evaluating their U.S. subsidiaries.
In this capacity, He/she will oversee the Corporate Management of the clients in the U.S., which offers outsourced financial and administrative services to French clients in the U.S., including accounting, tax, HR, reporting and administration functions, as well as advisory services in connection with new subsidiary incorporation, organization of local operations, and acquisition due diligence.
Profil
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Management, Finance, Business Administration or foreign equivalent
- Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation in an accounting firm or a small to mid-sized corporate setting.
- Knowledge of:
- GAAP and IFRS;
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software;
- Corporate tax returns, sales tax returns, and financial statements;
- ADP payroll and payroll records management;
- U.S. and applicable foreign accounting and tax regulations, directives and guidelines; Bookkeeping and monthly closing;
- Accounting consolidation and analytical accounting.
He/ she may be assigned to unanticipated work locations throughout the United States.
Remote working or telecommuting permitted in all U.S. States, in accordance with company policy.
Relocation to within a reasonable commuting distance of the area of intended employment required.
National and international travel (Europe) required up to 1-2 weeks per year.
